A painting you can listen to.

Fabrizio De André's Via Del Campo (1967) is much more than a piece of art to hang on the wall. It is a complete sensory experience: frame the QR code printed on the painting with your smartphone and let yourself be carried away by the musical track that inspired this work.

A noir and poetic style, with an anthracite black that envelops everything like the night of the Genoese alleyways where beauty and misery live side by side, it tells the story of the girl from Via Del Campo like telling the story of a flower growing in the asphalt – with the same wonder and the same pain. A geometric and dark female figure – her face cut in half by the frame, her red lips the only warm color in the entire scene – holds a huge, multifaceted rose in her hands, constructed from pink, red and burgundy geometric planes like a precious origami. But inside the rose – at its center, where the petals should be – there is an alley: a Genoese "carrugio" illuminated with warm orange, tall buildings on either side, lit windows, stairs climbing towards the back. The rose contains the street. The street is the rose. To Via Del Campo go those who are lost. Those who are lost find themselves there.
