Stampa artistica ispirata a La Rondine - Mango | 2002 - Quadrisonanti
A painting you can listen to.
La Rondine by Mango (2002) is much more than a piece of art to hang on your wall. It's a complete sensory experience: frame the QR code printed on the painting with your smartphone and let yourself be carried away by the music that inspired this work.
A minimalist, lunar style, with a petrol blue that fades into turquoise like the sky during the quietest hours of the night, it speaks of freedom as a desire to fly away — that longing of someone who watches a bird and wishes they were it. An enormous moon dominates the scene, divided exactly in half by a sharp vertical line: the left half is the real moon, white and bright with its clouds and craters; the right half is its geometric shadow, a flat dark turquoise circle like an idea of the moon, like the memory of something that is no longer there. Exactly on the border between the two halves, a solitary swallow flies — small, free, perfectly at ease between the real and the imagined. Below, tiny, the silhouette of a man looks upwards. He wishes he were the swallow. We all wish we were.
